UPDATE ;;

well, the last i heard about Hermionie is that hopefully she will be coming back from Newmarket. We may even be lucky, seeing how she goes over the next few days, and she might not have to have the op. She's still a mess though =/ But, things are looking a bit brighter now. Just gotta hope it all goes to plan, and nothing else goes wrong. She's four years old and was getting on so well with her training. She was just starting to jump, and we all could see she's gonna make an awesome jumper. Now i think, if and when she recovers, her training will start from scratch, just to ease her back into it.

On a .. not to bright note..

The calf, Dolly, died ='[ we all knew she wasn't looking too good today, but i never thought she would go down so fast. Life isn't fair. She was a little fighter, a tiny little fighter at that. But, today she just seemed to have given up =[ It's really sad, people got really attached to her. I guess it's just one of those things =/ no doubt she will be missed ='[

Some peope need to use thier fucking brains. Last night some bastards let thier dogs loose on the horses field. Now, a scared and stirred up herd of horses and ponies is just going to end badly, and it did. Thanks to these twats not using thier fucking brains, Hermionie, one of the young mares ended up badly injured.

A lot of the horses came in with blood on them, but she was the worst. One back leg is cut on the inside, right down to the bone. There is a 40% chance that we are going to lose her. Today she had to travel all the way to Newmarket. How unbelieveable is it that there is no one in Norfolk avalible today to do the operation she needs. She has only ever been boxed and traveled once, when she was 7 months old, now aged four, this wasn't easy to get her on the lorry and off to Newmarket. She's there now, waiting to be checked out. So far, we think there is no tendon damage, so she might make it. Now we have to wait, hopefully she'll recover, but at the moment, we just don't know =/

That's not all. All bad things come at the same time it seems. A 12 week old calf, Dolly, was rejected by her mother soon after she was born. She had been hand reared, seeming so far to be getting on okay, despite her size. She is so tiny, more like the size of a 2 week old. Well, today, she's taken a turn for the worse and is going downhill rapidly. We don't think she's going to make it ='[

If we find the people who let the dogs out, they'll stand no chance. A whole load of livid stable girls, plus more, they aren't going to come out in one piece. Seriously, it wouldn't surpirse me, everyone is furious.

People need to keep their dogs on leads. Something as simple as that could have stopped this, but people don't use thier fucking heads x__X.
